Our home has been recently renovated. It is decorated in a contemporary style. The kitchen is very well equipped with stainless steel appliances. The breakfast room is great for your early morning coffee. There is a screened enclosed porch off the breakfast room. The TV is located in the small den which overlooks the garden. There is a living room with dining area off the kitchen. The main bedroom has two full size beds and the 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons and absolutely non-smoking. With approx 1300sq ft of under air living space you will not be cramped. For your enjoyment there are 4 Tvs, DVD/VCR, free WIFi broadband high speed Internet plus free long distance calls. Bring your laptop! There is no garage but we have ample parking under our majestic trees and behind the gates - bring your RV/boat. The property is located close to the Indian River, downtown and stores/shops for your convenience.
If you love the beach, fishing, wildlife or nature this is the place for you! And donít forget the Kennedy Space Center where you can see the world's most advanced technologies including the Space Shuttles. The Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge contains more threatened and endangered plants and animals than any other wildlife refuge in the continental United States, including the West Indian Manatee, Florida Scrub Jay, Gopher Tortoise and Indigo Snake. More than 5,000 alligators live on Merritt Island. The Indian River Lagoon system, which borders the refuge, has more species of plants and animals than any other North American estuary. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Kennedy Space Center are truly a gateway to Florida's past and future. Route 402 from North Titusville = 27 miles of undeveloped barrier island provide the pristine Atlantic beaches of Playalinda, Klondike and Apollo. It is a major destination for bird lovers. The beaches are known world-wide for surfing. The area is a major destination for bird watchers.

Titusville is a world class fishing location with over 500 species of marine fish found in the Indian River Lagoon, and over 100 species of fresh water fish found in the St. John's River and the fresh water lakes in this area. Offshore, the Atlantic Ocean holds a variety of big game fish and you will enjoy trolling for Dolphin, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Sail Fish, or bottom fishing for Grouper, Snapper, and Cobia. Port Canaveral just down the coast is home to a number of cruise ships, offshore fishing charters, party fishing boats, casino boats and dining venues. This area is a must-see for all visitors to the Space Coast. And donít forget the world famous Dixie Crossroads Seafood Restaurant. You donít even need a car to get to it!
The area plays host to many great golf courses. If you fancy some time in Orlando I have rental properties in Ventura Country Club which has it's own golf course. Located just 5 miles north of the international airport and within 2 minutes of restaurants, shops etc it is the ideal spot for some in town entertainment or relaxation. This gated resort community is located on 500 perfectly manicured acres with something for all the family. Golf, tennis, pools, basketball. fitness, kids playground. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar as well as a very well stocked pro shop. Come and meet our great golf pro - Josh Bennett.
***There are 2 large glass topped tables in the property. The glass is not secured to the bases and would present a hazard to very small children if they were to grab hold of the edge***
Other Activities: wildlife, bird watching, antique shopping, kayaking, canoeing, sky diving, surfing

Marvelous House. Great location for the Beach! Very clean, comfortable & well-Maintained. Super customer service and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Date of Stay: November 2008
As avid birdwatchers and beachcombers, we really enjoyed this stylishly decorated home very close to Merritt Island NWR, Cape Canaveral, and an exceptional seafood restaurant and market. The screened-in back porch is a great place for morning coffee or relaxing in the afternoon with a glass of wine. Everything you need is well provided.

Date of Stay: June 2009
This house is completely true to all the descriptions given. The facilities are excellent and there are lots of handy extras such as a plentiful supply of charcoal for the barbecue and various other extras you would not normally find in a holiday house. This gave it a more "homely" feel than is usual. The property is very well maintained and exceptionally clean. All dealings with the proprietor were pleasantly and professionally dealt with. I would recommend this house to friends without hesitation. The house is well situated for visiting the coast, Merritt Island and Kennedy Space Centre. We also visited various theme parks and Blue Springs Park which, although further afield, were within a reasonable distance. It's fair to say that the house is a bit off the normal "tourist" trail but for those that prefer to experience a bit more of the real world, this is a positive benefit.

Date of Stay: January 2009
My husband and I spent most of January 2009 in this very comfortable home. The furnishings were attractive and the whole house was very clean. The kitchen had excellent appliances. We especially enjoyed a small screened porch in back and frequently ate there. The wifi was a big plus.
We loved Titusville -- not so touristy as some places. It has a quiet small-town feel. Many of its restaurants look modest but have truly delicious seafood and lots of southern cooking.
The house is ideally located for driving places -- 5 minutes to connect to interstate 95. In the other direction, 10 minutes east takes you to the huge and beautiful Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with hiking trails and driving loops. Cape Canaveral is not too far either. The owner was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Date of Stay: February 2009
We found the house to be true to the pictures that we saw and had everything we needed, right down to the pans and plates. It was nicely decorated and clean. It was a quiet neighborhood. It had a pleasant enclosed yard with fruit trees...very nice. We also thought that the money transaction was quick and honest. We would definitely stay again.

Date of Stay: February 2009
Our family of four stayed here in February 2009. We planned on watching the February 12th shuttle take off but it was postponed until after we left. Nevertheless, there was plenty for us to do in the area...two days at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC), two days at the wildlife refuge, another day at Blue Springs State Park (about an hour or so away) for canoeing and watching the manatees. We went to Cocoa Beach but left as soon as we got there as it was not "our cup of tea". This rental was very clean and well maintained. The owner provided excellent customer service and it is obvious that she aims to please. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the thick bath towels. I would say that this home is primarily for adults, although our children, aged 9 and 11 years, loved it. We bought a couple of games and books and we were set. Our kids are avid readers and they were in heaven reading on the leather couch set. There are some movies at the house, but we also used the Blockbuster movie card that was available to us while we stayed there to rent Apollo 13 after our visit to KSC. There is a 7/11 type of store a few houses away and a bagel shop that opens early in the morning. We had the BEST seafood at Dixie Crossroads, also just across the main thoroughfare. It was so good that we ate there twice. I highly recommend this property!

When first inquiring for a quaint, quiet & family friendly property for which I could rest my labor drained body, I never would have thought relaxation & rejuvenation could have awaited me in such a remote location. When first presented with the suggestion of 'Titusville' - I instantly searched my memory for recall but with no avail as to whether I had ever heard of the haven at hand. Now that I have experienced it's breath taking beach, gorgeous seagull-manned looking bridge & fantastic shopping locations I can truly say that this was a getaway far beyond my expectations. The home in question was a beautifully laid out plan, with much space for everyone. Gorgeously furnished with a breathtaking backyard which lay akin to a period novel complete with orange tree & all. I highly recommend this property & urge all considering visiting Titusville to inquire about this wonderful property.

February 2008. This is our first visit to Florida and a new experience escaping -15 degrees in Wisconsin. It seems like June or July and we have to keep reminding ourselves that it is February - not June! We have been comfortable in your house and you have kept it supplied with all the necessities for everyday living. This is a cute place and we can tell you have taken care with it and the many updates. We have enjoyed the smaller community. Orlando was too busy for us. We don't know what the future is, but it would be nice to come back again. Thanks for letting us use your house. I really liked you color scheme. It reminds me of the ocean and the sandy beaches.

Your decorator did an excellent job. It is inviting but not overwhelming. Climate here is very humid compared to Iowa in winter! We enjoyed our stay at your place. The weather turned out well for golf and our outings to Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach. Since we left Iowa they have had over 12Ē of snow plus subzero temperatures. Are we ever going to feel the cold when we get back!
